Chipotle Secret Menu

The Chipotle secret menu is not a menu. It is five assembly requests that staff will honour if the restaurant is not slammed, and most of them are combinations of things already on the line. Whether any given location will make one depends entirely on how busy it is.

The requests that generally work

None of these are official, and a polite ask during a quiet period gets much further than naming them at a lunch rush.

  • Quesarito — a burrito wrapped in a quesadilla instead of a plain tortilla. Roughly a burrito plus the quesadilla base, so add about 430 calories to whatever the burrito would have been
  • Burrito bowl with a tortilla on the side — the same fillings with the 320-calorie tortilla kept separate, which is genuinely useful for portion control
  • Nachos — chips as the base with regular toppings over them. Chips alone are 540 calories, so this lands high
  • Double-wrapped burrito — two tortillas, which is 640 calories of wrapper before anything goes inside
  • Extra everything — not secret, but asking for extra fajita vegetables and lettuce costs 25 calories and fills a bowl out

What is not real

The "free tortilla on the side" and the extra-portion "hacks" that amount to asking for extra portions without paying for them are staff-dependent at best and simply untrue at worst. Anything that would require a second protein portion gets charged as one.

The only one worth ordering for nutrition

The tortilla on the side. It turns a burrito decision into a portion decision — you can eat half the tortilla, or none of it, and keep the 320-calorie difference under your control. Everything else on this page adds calories rather than managing them. Build either version in the calculator to see the gap.
